Mine is the scene when he's swearing that ridiculous Gore-Tex parka and he's complaining about having to buy wine for the hosts of a dinner party.

Actually, when that happened, I thought the writers were idiots....or at least they'd run out of ideas, and the end of the series was a bit overdue.

Here here. The year 8 and 9 writers did not know how to "set up" a situation. So the bits they did often seemed forced or out of place.
