A local tv hockey program showed some clips on how they made that commercial and it was pretty interesting. The puck he catches in his mouth comes to him on a huge machine very slowly, and then they speed the film up. The other stuff was done with lasers. Perhaps they can do an episode where Jerry tells some woman that George went on to become a professional hockey player...

Last night during CBS's Olympics coverage there was a Rold Gold commercial in which Jason Alexander plays the part of a hockey goalie. It was the first time I'd seen it, and I thought it was funny. Has anybody else seen it??
The best part was that, in typical George-style (yes, I know it's not
necessarily George in the commercial), the whole thing was a vivid day
dream... I loved the effortlessness of it all... just reached out and caught

There was a whole thing on tv last night (sunday) that showed the commercial. They said that they used some sort of laser-guiding for the mechanism that shoots the puck, so that Jason just had to put the glove out and the puck went right into it every time. As for the one he catches in his mouth....they had a machine that drove the puck up to him.
