Where in L.A. is the building used in the exterior shots of Jerry's apt? I read in Seinfeld Universe (Greg Gattuso) that this building was at 6th and Vermont, but I have seen no building of that liking in that vicinity. Any know the exact location? Thanks in advance

But it's meant to represent a building on West 81st St. in New York where
Seinfeld once lived (and Kenny Kramer still lives across the street from).
Sidelight...Jerry today owns and lives in an apartment in The Beresford,
an upscale co-op building at West 81st and Central Park West in Manhattan just
a short walk east of his old place. Needless to say it's a lot fancier and more
spacious; instead of Kramer and Newman, his neighbors now include people like

I wish I'd known that last weekend as I was in New York and tried to go on W 81st from Central Park and couldn't because they blocked off Columbus for a street or sidewalk sale deal. I noticed the Beresford but thought nothing of it because I was disapointed that I couldn't make a right.
It put a lot of things in perspective though as far as distances go e.g. : the distance between Central Park and the Hudson River where Kramer swam and between each others addresses.
I'm glad I took the time to drive around the neighborood but I 'm also thankful that I didn't have to attempt parking in that area. I believe George when he says that when they find a good parking space they never leave!!
