I have recently noticed the existance of the Episode Guide from the Seinfeld FAQ, from anonymous ftp, the suffix on the filename is .z . When I downloaded it to my PC, it was garbage. Can anyone tell me the proper way to decompress the file, or do whateverI have to do, to be able to load it into Word or Wordperfect, so that I can get a Cpy? Any help is appreciated.

You need gunzip/gzip which is a GNU release. Try the GNU site at MIT (think it's pit-manager.ai.mit.edu).
Btw, ever hear of line feeds?
