In "The Phone Message," which was replayed in syndication tonite, Jerry is seen talking to Kramer and George in the hallway. I clearly saw that Jerry's apartment is apartment 3 (A or E, I forget which). This episode was from 1991. In later years, I am 99% sure that Jerry lives in Apartment 5 (A or E, I forget).

Right on! In some early episode he lives in 3A but then (and always) it is 5A. I don't know why...
In "Male Unbonding," Jerry's apartment number is 411. Now this is different from the one in the original episode (3A) and different from the one is recent years (5A). Also, in Male Unbonding, the elevator and the halls look way different from what we've seen lately.
Just an observation. There's no need to delve into the meaning of all this. But, if you prefer to delve, then delve.
