Location of New York

In The Simpsons NG, there are a lot of posts from people who think they've figured out what state Springfield is in.

So, in that tradition, I think I'll start a similar thread here, as to what state New York is in.

I would guess Colorado.

Well, the arrows were emanating from the northeast US. Probably somewhere north of Boston.
