Last night i watched 'the outing' episode. In this episode Elaine refuses at 3 occasions to take off her jacket. First at Jerry's appartment, then at the journalist's and then at Monk's. Was there any reason for not taking off her jacket? It made Jerry angry, it made me curious.....

It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, she just got tired of people asking her to take off her jacket. At first, she just said "No, really, I'm fine", but as people pressed her about it, she got mad and refused to *ever* take it off.
I say the reason she would not take off the jacket was because the real life actress Julia, was very pregnant at the time Jerry was messing with her on camera trying to get the jacket off when he knows it was not in the script & was used as a "cover" for her condition. This of course depends on the timing of Julia's pregnacy.
