OH OH OH I just thought of one: James T. Kirk's middle name. Everyone knows it's Tiberius, but it was never revealed during the course of the series, it was only revealed in a star trek cartoon.

Then of course, there's Spock's first name. Someone asked him what it was once (in the original series), and he replied "You couldn't pronounce it". Not really a running mystery, since it didn't come up much in the show, but fun to speculate on nevertheless.

I was listening to the radio this morning (KFOG) and the dj (Dave Maury) said, for almost no apparent reason, the Skipper's name, which was Jonas something. (Crumby? Grumby? something like that). I think he said it in reference to Bob Denver's 60th b-day, which was today.

D'oh! Though I'd actually want to see that one again before I admit that I'm wrong! This is the one where someone's hiding out on the engineering deck, and sets Kirk up with some digital samples? And Scotty and Chekhov are trying to figure out if Yeoman Rand's breasts are real?
