Attenition Seinfeld fans: Newsradio

PLease tuen in 1/2 an dhour early on Wednsday(before the rerun of Seinfeld). Newsradio is moving timeslots yet again, and is facing cancellation. teh show is SOOOOOOOOOOOO good. It has a smallfollowing, but a devoted fan base. Its proabbly been the best show on TV for the past 2 years(although next year the torch may be passed along to Ally Mcbeal). Its also considered one of the 10 best shows of the year by ET magazine. Sorry this has nothing to do with seinfeld, but my point is to direct you to another quality show now that seinfeld is leaving

So are you the key grip or the cameraman's assistant on this piece of crap show?

Hey SHUTUP CHUCK... News Radio ROCKS! I'm one of the dedicated fans thankyou, and I say it RULES! I think its about as funny as seinfeld and it shouldn't be cancelled.

But Chuck NBC does no advertising for Newsradio so how can we be hooked?

Of course, everyone can has an opinion (no matter how dim-witted one may find it). But, since I am a fan of both NewRadio & 3rd Rock, I kind-of take the moron thing personally.

#1 - I am not a moron (fyi, I graduated 11th in my class) - Given your posts, I believe that I could most likely run rings around you intellectually.

#2 - I am most definatly not a lemming...I'm not a little creature & I don't blindly follow the masses. For ex: I've never have seen an ep. of 90210 or it's demon spawn, hated NKOTB from the minute they showed their rat-tailed selves...Hell, I've never seen Star Wars, and I'll see Titanic when it's on HBO...maybe. And, am I the only person who is totally irked by Calista Flockhart?

#3 - Must See Tv ploy? Don't get me wrong, I love Seinfeld, but they are the grande dame of the so-called "ploy", not the forgotten NewsRadio and often unappreciated 3rd Rock.

#4 - Both shows have a wonderful mix of high-brow and gutter comedy. And, both shows have casts that work wonderfully together, and they can actually act - unlike people on a lot of tv shows. Once again, Calista comes to mind...along with soap operas.

#5 - Just out of curiosity, Chucky ol' boy, what do you consider "good" tv? Mindless rich kids in trouble? A series that is just a thinly laid veil for a endless stream of fat jokes? A show where every episode is "special"? A bunch of nearly naked women running in slow motion down a beach - well, that might be good for a guy on a dateless saturday night. Or, maybe you miss Cop Rock.

I've said this so many times to these morons: What's the point of putting down Newsradio? We all know that Newsradio is critically acclaimed, respected by the industry and media. In case you don't know, your beloved Jerry Seinfeld is a fan of the show. Have you ever wondered why he did a voluntary guess spot on Newsradio? I guess Jerry Seinfled is a genius. Jerry has also been on Late Night w/David Leterman, The Tonight Show w/Jay Lenno, The Conan O'Brien Show, etc.etc. This does NOT mean he is a fan of all the above shows and thats a FACT!!!. Your statement that Jerry is a fan of Newsradio, and it is critically acclaimed, and respected by the industry is in fact an OPINION of your own. If you do not have facts to back them up. Allen in an article in USA Today Jerry actually said that the only reason he appeared on Newsradio was because he is a big fan of the show. Have you ever seen Newsradio. Probably not.
