THE LOPPER!

I have a very good feeling that the lopper is Babu...what do you kids think?

Also, in the Newseek aticle about the final episode (or was it Time?) it showed the 4 main stars hugging on the stage after the final scene with the rest of the cast in the background. I could've sworn I saw the guy who plays Babu. I am sure he will be in the final episode and it would be great if he turned out to be the Lopper.

Of Course!!!! All of the victims looked like Jerry! I take back everything that I said about Babu not being The Lopper. It can either be Babu or Davola. I'm not sure which. But now I'm leaning closer to Babu. You put Davola back on his meds and he's fine. The Lopper has to be more than a plot device.

No Lopper reference tonight. It would be more Seinfeldesque to not mention it again until the finale anyway. But it may be too predictable for Larry David. Perhaps your first instict was correct and it was a thowaway plot device. I just hope they resolve the Babu story in some clever way.

Didn't Jerry live across the street from The Dream Cafe? I can't remember if it was shown or not, but it probably would have come up in conversation that he lived there. That's how he knew it wasn't doing business, right? He was watching from his window?

Well, if I had to pick anyone, I would have picked Crazy Joe Davola. Although I think Babu would be funnier than Joe Davola. But I think that the lopper is a throwaway plot device used to deal with Jerry's Girlfriend-of-the-hour. If that sentence-ending harlot is in tonights episode, then I may start to suspect a Lopper thread happening.

Furthermore, the trailer for the new ep tonight has Jerry falling for his maid. Without that sentence-stealing harlot to visit, why would Jerry go near Riverside Drive, unless the producers are really trying to surprise us. Just my $.02.

It's not like The Lopper only kills in Riverside Drive...he could be anywhere looking for Jerry...remember Kramer said the picture he saw of the latest victim looked a lot like Jerry
