Q: In 'The Dinner Party' episode, how much did George end up spending on wine and the items at the newstand ?

The wine was $13.05 and the newsstand stuff (gum, Clark bar, paper, Penthouse forum) came to $6.75...... Of course George then said he was in over $20....guess he was never a math wiz.....

Nope.....when someone at the register says to you "that'll be $13.05" the sales tax has already been added for you. What do you think they expect you to do, figure it yourself? Same with the newsstand guy. Either the writers weren't thinking or one of the salespersons blew a line.......
