Inconsistancy in "The Cadillac"?

In "The Cadillac", the cable guy came to Kramer's because he was getting free premium channels. In "The Baby Shower" Kramer has an illegal hook-up and wants Jerry to get one. It could have been that Kramer decided to get a legal hook-up and everything is ok, but one only knows.

No, what it was, I think, is that the cable company made a mistake and gave him free cable, and they needed to get into his apartment to re-connect his box.

Kramer was getting Showtime and HBO for free, and the plaza cable guy wanted to take it out. He wasn't mad about them taking it out, but he was mad about times when he had to wait all day long for the cable guy to show up, so it was "payback time."

"The Cadillac" is a two part one. In the second episode, the big Plaza Cable guy stands outside of Kramer's door and apoligizes. Kramer comes outside, and they hug and apoligize to eachother.

Nope, he was just getting a few premium channels. I believe it was HBO and Showtime. UPN reran that show last night at 10pm CST.

Not really an inconsistency: an illegal hookup can be found out, the scrambling algorithm changed, etc. At that point, once used to having cable, Kramer just got it legit.
