I, like I'm sure many others, can confirm this. In the UK we still see the originals, the other being The Revenge where we still get the version with Larry David's voice being used for Newman.

I have to say, even though I saw most of the episodes containing Jerry Stiller before the original Handicapped spot episode, he didn't seem too out of place in the role. I have since seen the US syndicated version, and I have to say John Randolph played the part better for the script, after all it was written for him, less angry, but still definately Frank. I have plans to copy the original to my PC and share it with the world on Kazaa, it may be quite a while yet though.
