We never do. She mentioned that it may have been the maid, and she "had
people over" so it may have been stolen by a guest. I don't think she
was keeping it because when she met George in the park, it seemed like
she was interested in a relationship with George, she mentioned how he
was "growing" on her, like the commercial jingle. If she was about to
embark on a relationship, I think she might have come clean about the
hat.
