Okay.
First of all, I'm reading all of this crap some of the educated public of America write about Seinfeld in general but mostly about the show's closure. What the hell is the point of sending post-after-post of mindless drivel about how you didn't like the show?? I read one post and all it said was "Newmaannnn" or something equally stupid. If you're going to post anything, at least organize a piece of coherent thought first.
Secondly, who is to say whether it sucked or not? As far as Jerry Seinfeld is concerned, I'm sure he doesn't give a crap whether anyone liked it or not. HE felt as if it was over, and THIS was how he ended it. Personally, I thought his final season and thus his final show had its ups and downs but basically and overall: everything had a feeling of 'the end' and that was o-kay by me.
Some people are suggesting that with the lines "Oh don't worry, we'll be back" that they will be back. So be it. Don't like the show anymore? Don't watch it. I'm willing to bet, anyways, that more than half, if not all, of the people who've posted on here saying Seinfeld sucks and couldn't pump out a decent ninth season STILL watched the final episode. That proves something: he got you.
He could be back, he could stay away forever. I'm guessing that with the final lines of the final show being the first lines of the first show, he closed it off for good. Sealed the vault, if you will. However, with a man like Jerry Seinfeld in mind, this sort of "ending" would make the perfect "beginning" don't you think?
Long live (or forever be dead) Seinfeld.
