I keep reading references about the absence of Elaine. Someone told me that she had a baby in real life!? This was the first I had heard about it, but it does explain her absence in the LA shows and the unecessary clips of her in Paris last week.
They pointed out that during the end of last season she was always seen sitting down holding a pillow or something, or holding a sweater in fron of her. I don't remember this, but it would explain things.
I have also been noticing people comparing the qualtiy of episodes. I thought last week was great. I didn't like the LA shows. But that is the problem with a series as good as Sinefeld or The Simpsons. There are going to be shows that reaaly stand out as good or bad. But you will also find people that LOVE the ones that you hated and the other way around. People (the writers) have good and bad days. Just look at a classic sitcom (as I'm sure you will agree Seinfeld will be) like Mary Tyler Moore or The Honeymooners. Everyone has their "favorite" episodes, but there were clunkers produced as well... we just don't remember them as well.
And lastly, in my opinion, I really hope that they keep Kramer as a supporting role. If they give him too much exposure, I think the character will loose its edge.
