You know, it seemed like that line was...kinda "different" somehow, from the flow of the rest of the dialogue. Almost as if that line was thrown in after ALOT of bloopers. Also, it wasn't a witty remark, just a funny insult.
The laughter also seemed to come pretty quickly when he said it.
Anybody got some inside info? Thanx in advance!

Personally I don't think you should analyze every line in the show, who cares if 1 line was not funny. Is everything you people say funny even though I never met you I will asure you it is not

Actually, it was definitely an ad-lib - I read an interview a while ago where Jerry admitted as much. He also said that the remark was significant as the beginning of a new verbal pushing of the envelope on the show. It was definitely an ad-lib, however.
