Poll: Who's the better friend?

If you could pick Elaine, George, Jerry or Kramer for a friend, who would you pick?

It has been along time but afew of you know how I try to make this newsgroup alittle better than the average by posting aquick correction to the use of "a lot" as one word. Other than that I would never comment on all the other incorrect spelling or grammar, ... well maybe abit when people spelled spelt as averb but that's amatter for others to address. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

For me it's a no-brainer. Definitely Elaine. We have a lot in common...we are both copywriters for catalogs, we both love jazz, we both hate The English Patient. I also think of all the characters, she is the most friendly. She wanted to include Susan in their group. She felt bad when she hurt someone's feelings (apologizing to the virgin). When she shoos squirrels away, she always says "get out of here". She never ever throws things at them to injure them like other people.

And when she sees freaks in the street she never, ever stares at them. Yet, she's careful not to look away, you know, because she wants to make the freaks feel comfortable.

To answer my own question, I always thought Kramer was a better friend. After all, he was going to sleep on the street all night to guard Elaine's armoire and then talked to the Soup Nazi to get her a replacement. He also remembered what she wanted for her birthday (a wooden bench or something). But then again, he's pretty high maintenance! Elaine, I'm not so sure about... I remember one time when Elaine made a point of saying she was leaving when Jerry specifically asked her to stay because of some uncomfortable situation. (The details escape me at the moment, so I hope I'm even making sense!). And it really turned me off when Jerry and Elaine were plotting to break up a marriage because they were interested in the couple for themselves. Jerry's generous, but also very self absorbed, and George, well I don't have enough time to list all of the problems there!
