Nick At Nite Honors Seinfeld
On the night of the final "Seinfeld" episode, Nick At Nite will honor the NBC sitcom by running...nothing. That's right, nothing, for the show repeatedly described as about "nothing," but about a lot of things that have affected TV audiences since the sitcom began. From 9 p.m. through 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on Thursday, May 14, the only thing seen on the channel will be an image of TV Land's closed office doors accompanied by a note explaining that the network will return after the conclusion of Seinfeld's season- and series-ending finale.
"NOTHING is more important than the last episode of Seinfeld," explains Larry W. Jones, General Manager, TV Land. "We think airing nothing is a fitting salute to a show about nothing. As Seinfeld is one of the greatest shows ever to air on television, TV Land is honored to pre-empt an hour of programming for this historic and monumental occasion.
