P.RICAN day parade in 3 weeks?

Last week was the burning, this week was the bookstore next week is frogger then the next week is the maid.. Any chance they'll play #176 ? Thats the world renoun P.RICAN DAY PARADE ! PLAY IT NBC ! YOU SORRY SACK OF !

	I absolutely agree with the above statement.  I saw the episode and really
don't believe that it was offensive at all.  I am not Puerto Rican. But after
hearing about the complaints, I thought back on the episode and it really
wasn't that bad.  First of all. no one in the episode made fun of the parade or
Puerto Ricans.  Second, Kramer was getting excited about the parade and even
said some positive things about the parade.  Thirdly, when Kramer got the
Puerto Rican flag on fire, it was not on purpose.  He was lighting his cigar
with a sparkler.  It just happened to land on the flag.  When the K-Man
realized what he had down he tried to put out the fire.  When all the Puerto
Ricans saw Kramer stomping on the flag, they thought he was being
disrespectful.  They chased after him and later flipped Jerry's car over (Black
SAAB Rules).  The reason for the whole Flag burning was for Kramer to do
something really stupid. and for a laugh.  By no means was this meaning to be
offensive.  If anyone can tell me how it is, e-mail me.
	The Puerto Rican's who protested the episode did so IMO because they wanted to
get their views publicized.  Their beef is that Latinos are not represented in
TV.  If they every are, it is usually in a negative light.  They have a good
point.  However, they used Seinfeld to piggy back on the season ending hype.
Now NBC will not show the 'Puerto Rican Day' episode this summer.  There is
some doubt that they will ever show this episode again, even in syndication.
So if you didn't see it, you may never will.  That is what pisses me off the
most.  If they don't rerun it in syndication, I will be very angry.  This does
not make me more sympathetic to their cause when they pull stunts like this.
That is a truely no class move.
