In the prologue to _The Trip, part 2_ they have a series of clips from part 1 to establish what has happened so far. One of the clips shows the cops putting a blanket over the blonde with the fantastic legs that Kramer was hitting on. And then *later* they show a brief clip of Kramer dancing at the audition which is where he picked this girl up, still alive. I've always had trouble understanding part 2 and it makes a lot more sense now that I know about what seems to me a glaring continuity error.
These two episodes are Elaine free and very, very good. Jerry and George behave like two high school kids in adult bodies. So perhaps the show *could* have worked as originally intended by Jerry and Larry. But it is an even better show with Elaine.
