OT: Trouble playing AVI files, help needed.

I tried to play an AVI file on Realplayer, the audio played fine, but there was no video. it brought up this message:

"Unable to render video; DIV3 decompressor not found."

Does anybody know where i can download this decompressor, or a patch to fix this?

When i play the file through media player it attemps to download the codec, but it doesn't work.

Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

Search on some Divx sites for the divx 4.z codec and install it, it will work like a charm, exact same thing happened to me. Oh yeah, use WMP instead of Real player.
