I was just looking over the episode list, and I can't find it!!! I know this was during the best season of Seinfeld, when they were writing the pilot, because I distinctly remember Jerry was sitting back down to brainstorm with George when Elaine said this most hilarious quote.

This is from "The Cheever Letters" from 1992 where he says "Oh, the panties your mom laid out for you?" when she starts talking dirty to him in bed and mentions what she wants him to do with her panties.
More about that episode to jog your memory---Elaine had a secretary that Jerry felt he had to chit chat with each time he called Elaine, so when he complained to Elaine, she ask the secretary to put her friends through when they called instead of keeping them on the line. The secretary got offended, knowing it was Jerry that complained and told E that she was going to quit. In an effort to get her to stay, E had Jerry call the secretary to tell her it had been a mistake, a misunderstanding. He said he had actually told E that it was a real pleasure to talk to her and E had thought he was being sarcastic. The secretary then roped him in to having a drink which ended up at Jerry's apt. The secretary started talking dirty and when Jerry "tried to keep up," with the panties line, she got offended, told him he was disgusting and walked. Jerry tried to get her to promise not to tell anyone and he thought he was off the hook, when at the end of the show, Elaine delivered her line about the panties her mother had bought and walked out leaving Jerry embarrassed. Phew, and that is just one strand of the storyline!
