Newbies and the clueless probably don't know what killfiles are, much less how to use one. Somebody comes in and says, "This person posts too much", and then you post more telling them they shouldn't be complaining about you posting so much. I see a feedback loop forming here. Why not just send these people form letters that say, "This is what a killfile is, go ask your net.admin how to use one." As Ted Sturgeon said, "90% of everything is crap." I for one have tried this approach, but it would appear that Semi yadayadayada whoever he/she is does not have the juevos to post his/her REAL email address, and I do not have the time/patience to find it. So what's the deal - can't stand by your posts?

In a nutshell, one individual decided it would be fun to yell and cuss at me for replying to messages that I felt like replying to. We were all talking about Seinfeld, which is exactly what this group is for. I love the show and love to talk about it. I don't understand the logic behind their arguments. Who is to say what is too much and what it too little? Each individual has their own opinions. There are people that I don't care for much in this group, but I don't tell them outright, "Why don't you fuck off!" or "Your posts are shitty!". I respect their right to be here and participate like any individual should be allowed to do.

Is it really too hard for you to grasp the concept of time as a limited resource? No one told you to stop posting or leave the group. Many people pay for the USENET service. Others have free access, but it still uses up a quantity of time, which I consider valuable. Leafing through 10 or so one or two line posts, often just "me toos", is a waste of time. Would it really be too difficult to have consolidated many of these into several substantial posts?

I don't think anyone is denying your right to participate. It's a question of volume. If your posts become a nuisance to some on this group, then they have every right to voice their opinion on the matter. Look through the prior posts and it is obvious that there are voices on "both sides of the fence" on this discussion. Try listening to some of them.

I didn't put yours in since you are a person who actually writes about Seinfeld in here. There are some who sit on the sidelines and then ridicule people, but they don't participate in the conference or add to it. You, on the other hand, have proved the opposite. My killlist is getting pretty long, but worth every line.
