Kevin, he was making a joke. It was only a joke. He called you a PREvert, not a PERvert. Big difference. Calling someone a prevert is just a way of making fun of the uptight people who judge others by calling them a pervert. I guess the prevert/pervert thing is used more in the U.S. than in Canada. So in the interest of international relations, I can assure you that it wasn't anything personal.
