KotH could probably be done in live action, but there's no way it could be done as a live-action sitcom. The stage-bound, three-camera sitcom format would just kill the show. As a cartoon, it can go to many more locations and use much more inventive camera angles than it could as a filmed sitcom. And the addition of a laugh-track would cause the writing to go to more gags and less character humor . . .
