For those still wondering whether Boomhauer is a first or last name, last night's episode resolved the "mystery," with a short appearance by his mother, Mrs. Boomhauer.

Well, there is a guy on the Georgetown University basketball team (John Thompsons' motto: "I'll go to deepest darkest Africa to find enough black guys to avoid having to recruit a white guy") named Reuben Boumtje-Boumtje (sp?).

So who the hell knows? Maybe it's Reuben Boomhauer-Boomhauer?
