  I've heard a rumor that the old Tuesday Night FOX catchphrase 'Da Boom', got
axed because of that tragedy in Colombine High.  True?   Or was it ditched
because it was totally ridiculous?    I thought so.

No, they axed Da Boom way b4 that incident. I think I read that the reason was the name was infringing on one of NBC's copyrights or something...

No, that's someone trying to spread a stupid rumor - FOX dropped it before Columbine. FOX had a lot of complaints from their affiliates about how stupid it was - as well as viewers - so they wisely took it off.
