The toon is so unusual that the bleeping of G.D. words in re-runs would for me add to the satire.

Letterman's etal talk shows have bleeped words at times.

Well, if KotH upsets those prissy morons whose faith is so weak that it might come crashing down due to Hank Hill's words, then it has to be a good thing. :D

These people are morons. It would be difficult to find a better role model for a father on TV than Hank Hill. He loves and cares for his family, he espouses Christian values, and is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. What do these people want? Oh, I see - wall-to-wall Bible programmes. Hank Hill is the most honorable person on the show. I'm not sure if I'd want to have him as a friend because of how backwards he is, telling Bobby he can't play Tombraider because the main character is female an he thinks that the game is making Bobby into a crossdresser (I think) or arguing with a Dr. over whether he wants Hank to pee fast or do a good job, or is complete inability to tell if his Laotian neighbor is Chinese or Japanese,...to say nothing his unintentionally racist treatment of John Redcorn. But he is the best of the four friends who drink beer in the ally. Boomhaur is the second best, and he tends to be a bit of a moron sometimes. Hank has made a good life for himself. As you say, he does hold good Christian/conservative values, he loves his family, including that fatboy joke/human bowling pin son of his, and that ego-mainiac wife who'se head is bigger than Texas. He's a hard worker, responsible, trustworthy, and a loyal friend. Even to that slimy wierdbeard jackass Dale, or that skulking creep Bill who is always coveting his wife (he can have her). The fact that he turned out half as good as he is despite the misfortune of having that talking turd Cotton Hill for a father is a miracle.
