Office Space

Anyone who saw Mike Judge's new film, "Office Space", which opening today, please post your review here.

I saw it tonight, it was absolutely hilarious. Funnier than the average KOTH episode. His (the main character guy) dreams were particularly funny. His boss really topped it off. A definite must-see for any Mike Judge fan. Also includes two ex cast members of Mad TV, David Herman and Orlando Jones, both of which did guest voices for KOTH.

I liked it, too. Other than the people involved, I didn't see any specific references to _King of the Hill_ (the way, for instance, there were _South Park_ references all through _BASEketball_), and I noticed only the one use of the word "corn-hole" that even vaguely connected it with The Great Cornholio. It sort of just stood on its own.

Stephen Root had a role that was an odd cross of Bill Dauterive and Jimmy James, but stands on its own merits.

Was it set in Texas? It looked like it might be, but they didn't beat us over the head with stereotypes. They showed at least one license plate up close, but I didn't think to look for the state name.

It had at least 26 pieces of flair.

I saw it over the weekend, and thought it was very well done. Hope Mike gets to make more movies in the future.

Stephen was playing Milton, the character from those old cartoons Mike did (pre-"Frog Baseball"?) that ended up on SNL. Whenever they showed scenes involving him and the boss (Gary Cole), I was amazed at how much like the cartoons they were. Scary!

BTW, the long-haired guy in the movie (played by what's-his-name from "The Drew Carey Show") sounded a lot like dang ol' Boomhauer. Shorten the hair, dye it blond, make him mumble more, and you got it, I tell you what!

Anyone have any other ideas for casting a live-action "King" movie?
