Referencing Old Episodes

Unlike "The Simpsons" lately, I'm glad to see that "KOTH" is maintaining it's continuity. With no less than 3 references to past episodes in last Tuesday's show (Bobby and Connie practice kissing, Bobby's "girlfriend" Marie, and Hank's bout with constipation), it's good to see that the writers pay more attention to what came before than that other show's production staff does.

Too bad they don't have the characters age normally. That would make it even more realistic than "The Simpsons." Speaking of which, has it been established how old Luanne is supposed to be? It seems like we know the age of all the other characters except her. Or did I miss that episode?

We dated once. I was half in the bag so things are a little blurry. I do remember her telling me her age was either eighteen or nineteen. Something teen. But I was relieved she was a legal adult. I also vaguely remember her slapping me and storming home. Something about one drunk in her lifetime was enough. Hope that helps.

I don't recall that they've said specifically, but I'd guess eighteen. It seems like she went right from high school to beauty school, and wasn't there long, but there haven't been any guardianship issues that would place her under eighteen.
