Newbie questions

I finally solved my modem problems (after a YEAR!). KOTH is my favorite show, but, naturally, since I was not able to log on for almost a year, I do not know how it's doing -- ratings-wise. I think the show is the funniest thing I've ever seen. Is it really doing badly? Won't Fox stand behind it a little more? Is it possible that Mike Judge would just put the collection on tape? Even my intellectual snob ex-boyfriend had to concede that KOTH was very funny!

hi, Rachel! welcome to the mosh pit..... yeah, i guess the ratings've been pretty bad since the move to Tuesdays. that's probably due to several things.......people not being used to the new day and just missin' it, baseball preemptions, what not.......and, apparently, Mad About You isn't as ready to be toppled as the FOX execs had hoped. this _might_ be a good thing, though. if the ratings don't come back up, eventually they'll have to move it or cancel it........and i don't think they're gonna cancel a show which has always been one of their most highly rated productions until now( they need all the good shows they can get! ). i think they'll realize it was just a dumb move, and move KOTH to a friendlier spot.
