DA BOOM

(Okey-doke, forgive me if this has already been brought up, as I haven't been here in a while.)

While listening to the local (Seattle) Radio Disney affiliate, eagerly awaiting the premiere of the new "Weird Al" single, I heard the actual song that the "Da Boom" fiasco apparently came from. Of course, just like any other radio station, they didn't indicate who performed the song, or even what the actual title is.

I'll assume the song is some sort of Disney production, as a lot of characters are mentioned throughout it. Doesn't explain how Fox got ahold of it, though!

Does anyone have more info? tpe

PS: Now that Fox's Tuesday nights are cartoon-free, I've gone back to NBC's lineup. While "NewsRadio" is still a funny show, it's sad to see how much has been lost by Phil Hartman's absence.

I'm afraid NewsRadio got the axe.............

Probably because of people like me who were watching "The PJs" and "Futurama" instead! Oh, well. It's probably for the best. Lovitz was no Hartman...

Much as I liked Hartman, I'm afraid he wasn't a very good impressionist: all his impressions sounded like him. Even Billy West does Phil Hartman better as Captain Zap Brannigan (a role originally meant to be voiced by the late actor). But as a character actor and comedian, he was great and NewsRadio suffered a fatal blow without him. (I still like Jon Lovitz though, and wish "The Critic" was still on)
