OT: Family Guy

Hey, did anyone happen to catch the sneak preview of Family Guy on Super Bowl Sunday? I did, it was one of the funniest cartoon sitcoms ever since KoTH!

Also, does anyone here like The PJ's? :)

I did. I thought it was awful. Not inspired, not really funny, boring.

I did but prefer Newsradio

LOVE "The PJs," but HATED "Family Guy." I'd go into my many reasons why, but I've already done that (and so did a LOT of other people) in several threads over at alt.tv.simpsons, and I'd really rather not have to go through all that again. Suffice it to say, that show wasn't thought of very highly by a large number of "Simpsons" fans.

Family Guy looks awesome! Plus, its set in New England (where i'm from) so it should have some local appeal around here. As for the PJ's, the first few episodes were pretty good, but lately its been lacking.

I agree with you about Family Guy! I'm going to check that out once it comes out in April! ;) As for The PJ's that show's okay.

I adore the PJ's. The foamation is amazing, but I also think the episodes are very funny. I love the various slogans on the HUD sign like "Keeping You In the Projects Since....". And the voice of the little fat kid Juicy is perfect.

Even though it could never happen, I'd love to see a team up of Tarnell & Boomhauer. It would be hilarious if they could understand each other, but no one else around them knows what's being said.

That is freakin' hysterical! I'd never put those two together in my head, and now I won't be able to see one without thinking of the other.

I'm a little embarrassed.........I didn't know that was a sneak preview. I just thought they yanked Family Guy after that one episode! Hey, it happens these days.................. As for The PJs, if Franz Kafka was alive, black and writing comedy, this'd be the show..........it's truly nightmarish! Funny, but nightmarish.......and the work that must go into each episode.........nothin' like a talented buncha folks combined with that ol' Disney moolah for gettin' results, is there?

Actually, I've heard that Family Guy won't come on the air again until April. BTW, who's Franz Kafka?
