I really liked when Peggy had to take over the tenets of Catholothism class and the one kid said he really liked going to church every week, and asked if it was ok to quit going to church for Lent. Peggy told him that he caught God on a technicality and therefore he could skip church.

I love that Mexican soap opera that they watch. Is it based on a real show or just made up? That's one of the good things about living near the US border (I live near the US-Canadian border): foreign broadcasts. Between the Quebecois sitcoms and the crazy disco dance parties out of Montreal, I can't get enough.
I have to admit: I found Peggy in a nun's habit to be a little...disocnerting.
The worst part is that I've know bachelors like that. You look at their toilet and think, "God! I think I'll hold it in!"

<slapping forehead> Ok, here goes. The kid obviously doesen't like going to church so he told Peggy that he did, in order to follow her logic through and get out of going to church. You know..... if came to me just how silly this response post is. I think maybe I should end it now while I still have some sanity.

So, Peggy's a Methodist. Must be her being from Montana. Most Protestant Texans are Baptist, of one following or another, i.e. Southern Baptist, 1st Baptist, etc.
