"Pretty, Pretty Dresses":
A riotous and surprisingly poignant episode finds Hank's lonely neighbor Bill with a case of the Christmas blues. It seems that several years ago, Bill's wife, Lenore, ran out on him during the Christmas holidays. It was a disaster that left the sensitive barber as the blubbering, pathetic mess we now know. Not without compassion, Hank and Peggy try to cheer Bill up by inviting him over for dinners with the Hill clan, but Bill's relentless self-pity (coupled with his questionable table manners) soon leave the Hills exasperatedand Bill suicidal, unable to fill the void left by Lenore. That is, until he runs across some of her old clothes.

I don't recall if we've learned his ex-wife's name before. It sounds like a reference to Edgar Alan Poe's "The Raven" to me.
