KOTH in syndication

How come when KOTH is in syndication, some scenes have to be cut out like in "Keeping up with our Jonesses", when Joseph finds the spark plug in the dumpster, they forward to Bobby finding the cigarette instead of showing him saying "OK, we'll need 4 more of those, an engine, some kind of frame, a cassette radio and we've got our death car!" Also in this episode when Bobby smokes a whole carton of cigarettes, they edit when Hank shows Bobby flicking a cigarette in his mouth and when Hank tells Bill and Dale about "Fixing a boy is like fixing a radiator"?

Every show in syndication has scenes cut out to allow more time for commercials. Stations/networks charge a lot more for first run network commercials so in syndication they do more volume since they are charging way less. The opening in all sydicated shows are cut down too.
