I'm A Little Underwhelmed........

Anybody else feel the same way about tonight's ep, or am I just havin' an off day?

No, its not you - it wasn't a great episode- seems KOTH can't decide if it wants to be a comedy or a drama - and a bad drama at that. Soon as they get rid of Grandpa - I'll be much happier.

This episode was really depressing - felt sorry for Peggy to the point of being really uncomfortable when she was force-fed the baby bottle, and Hank seemed denser and more lacking in empathy than I have ever seen his character.

I literally had a few moments of fear that something horrible would happen to the baby - I wanted to kick some ass in the Hill house!

No redeeming qualities? He gave his shins for his country. He got Peggy her job back when she got fired. He took the bullet for Bobby when Bobby was in deep trouble. He decorated Good Hank's bedroom all by himself. All that and he has to be funny, too?

Peggy managed to land on her back in the mud. With luck like that she doesn't need much from Bad Hank. She should be happy she eventually got the instant breakfast.

Now, now. There are a lot of adjustments to be made when a new baby arrives, and plenty of adjustments were made in the first half hour at the Hill house. Give it time.

Cotton sure is annoying. He's annoying as hell. Everything about him is annoying. He's supposed to be annoying. Mike Judge has done his work well.

But not interesting? Cotton is _very_ interesting. Everything about him gives me new insights into Hank's personality. (Bad Hank, I mean.)
