Disappointment

Was anyone else disappointed by the latest episode? I just didn't think it was that funny. Maybe they built it up too much, or tried too many gimmics, but it just wasn't that good. Boomhauer's only lines was that stupid speech, kind of a let down after "Dang - ol - Mel- lo - mart...".

Dale of course was brilliant. Kahn was also funny (loved the Sinad O"Conner joke). LuAnne was was funny in the beginning, but the second act got old fast.

Dale had the best line when he said him and Peggy would be laying in bed picking a college for Bobby.

Nope. Boomhauer's meaning of life with every cliche in the book. That may have been the most he has ever said.

Actually,Bill wanted to lie in bed with Peggy.Dale had said the Widow Hill was on her own.

Something about a Descartes-quoting Boomhauer really gives me the creeps. You don't suppose ol' Boom could be really, really, brilliant and no one's realized it because no one can understand him?

I wasn't disapointed at all with this episode. I thought it was a good start! Dale was hilarious, especially when he puked in Buckley's grave! Kahn's speech was funny, too! I think this all become a new start for Luanne now that Buckley's gone. Maybe she'll find a new boyfriend, and she'll probably have the will to get on with her life.

BTW, does anyone here think Luanne will go back to Beauty School, or will she start studying Photo Journalism?

I liked it, luanne being bald was funny and of course the widow hill bit was good but I didnt like it as much as I would have before the episode was pushed back...guess it was just like waiting all day to eat your favorite dinner only to find out that it was burned...
