For some reason, I wasn't able to get on this group through ng lately, but I'm back, baby! I'm also kind of disturbed to see that there are only TWELVE posts in here! What gives? I thought for sure that last Tuesday's episode (3-16) would have started another "Where is Arlen?" thread.
Let's do this, then: Who's hotter, Luanne Platter or the teenage version of Pebbles Flintstone? That oughta generate a few responses, good or bad.

Well, DUH!!! I just meant where in the state? There was a thread a while back where actual Texans were debating the location of Arlen, and last week's show should have added more fuel to the speculation. Didn't, apparently.

Mary Jane was best drawn by John Romita Sr., followed closely by John Romita Jr. I'll accept Judy Jetson, just as long as it's not Tiffany supplying her voice (like in the movie).

Did, too. The episode said that Arlen is a four-hour drive from Port Aransas, which pretty much puts it on 123 between San Antonio and Austin, what with the sunset being on the right while they were taking the ferry. Check DejaNews the night the episode was broadcast. You were looking for somebody to dispute that? I can't see why anyone would.
Actually the guy who started the Where's Arlen thread resides in Boston. It was first fueled by Kahn's statement that Houston was a three hour drive.

Near as I can figure, they have a clock a lot like the one in the Hill's kitchen with the center at the deepest part of Belton Lake at Fort Hood "Army Base" (where they store all the spare deuce-and-a-halfs) and with a minute hand about 150 "miles" long (which is to say, long enough so that its rusty tip just reaches Albany in "Heimlich County"); then wherever the point is when they look up, that's where Arlen is this week.
