Am I the only one who'd like to see that "Butthead" kid get slapped upside the head? Yeah, I know it's just a cartoon, but it ticked me off when Bill was having a good time at Bobby's birthday party and "Butthead" brought him down with "Your wife divorced you."

I think because it was the way she was raised, and was probably raised to believe in gender stereotypes. "Pretty girls don't have to be smart." Kind of thing. I don't think she's dumb at all, after all, she was Cotton's nurse in WW2!

Excuse me? WWII started in 1939, not 1941! Are you saying that just because the U.S.A. ignored it's friends and allies for more than two years, the war didn't start until the U.S. finally did the right thing and declared war on Germany and Japan? Is that what you're saying? It sure seems so to me.

In addition, the type of battle Cotton describes puts it much later in the war, maybe early '44. (Of course this is a cartoon and we're arguing global politics. This is truly one of the great things about the internet.)
Actually, indirectly i AM named after the late president of the U.S. (long story). And, in my NON-American opinion.....he was one of the few U.S. presidents for whom i can feel any admiration. I mean.....i *COULD* have been named after Nixon. Or Reagan. Or Bush. So i think i did pretty well by being named after Lincoln. He DID free the slaves, after all..........even if his motives were as much political as humanitarian. (See? Non-Americans study U.S. history, too. And maybe we see things from a different, and perhaps more accurate, perspective).
