WTD: "King of the Hill" - 11/16/03 ("New Cowboy on the Block)

Following a football game that ran long (as usual), my local Fox station (and many others in the Eastern and Central time zones) broadcast more than five minutes of post-game coverage / self-aggrandizement.

They then joined tonight's *NEW* episode of "King of the Hill" in progress. (Heaven forbid they delay it until 8:30, when a *RERUN* of "The Simpsons" is scheduled to air!)

Anyway, I'm hoping that someone fortunate enough to receive the show in its entirety can somehow share a copy with me. It would be great if somebody with plenty of extra FTP space / bandwidth could upload it (in any popular format) somewhere for a day or two. (allowing anyone in my situation to view the program) Otherwise, I'd be interested in purchasing or trading for a DVD/VHS copy.

Well, they already screwed Futurama doing the same thing, perhaps they are after King of the Hill now too? I was ticked off they did this too. I notice they are showing ANOTHER Simpsons repeat later in the week (Tuesday?).

This is better than what they used to do, which is delay everything on the schedule. That screws up everyone who sets a VCR/DVR to record the shows. I'd rather miss a few minutes at the beginning than the end.

In my opinion, the overall best course of action usually is to pre-empt the first program completely (with more post-game coverage or other filler), rescheduling it for either the following week or a few weeks later. Of course, the Fox Network suits most likely believe that the direct NFL lead-in is more important than anything else, even if this means omitting one third of a show's brand new episode.
