What Happened To The Show?

Well, I know that it's Summer, and most or all shows are doing repeates, but King Of The Hill hasn't been on it's Sunday time slot, just its weekday slots. So, will it return? Is it cancelled?

For some reason, in the fall, the show will air at 7:00 PM, which means it will not be on (in the eastern USA - the west gets a rerun) when Fox has an NFL football doubleheader, and even when Fox only has one game, the eastern cities where Fox shows the 4:05 (Eastern) game will probably get that night's episode "already in progress". (Hands up, who here remembers last year's Christmas episode incident.) In January, it will move to 7:30.

Well, it hasn't been cancelled. For some reason Fox decided to pull it and burn off leftover episodes of Oliver Beene. KotH will be back with a new episode at 7:00 on November 7, and (according to the schedule, which of course can change, this being Fox) it'll get some new episodes on non-football nights, until January, at which time it'll move back to 7:30.

Meantime, KotH reruns will be starting on cable on the FX network on September 20. And the third season comes out December 28, just in time to miss Christmas, but at least it comes out.
