How about breaking cartoon precedent and having the characters (or at least the ones who are young enough for it to be more apparent) on KOTH age, as characters on sitcoms with human actors do? Judge has already shown a rare and admirable sense of cartoon continuity by showing Luann's hair growing back slowly (anyone else think she gained a little weight this past ep?), and by generally developing story lines that are informed by previous episodes. There's plenty of mileage that can be had from putting Bobby, Joseph, and Connie through all the late adolescent teenage angst they're bound to encounter growing up in Arlen. The Simpsons is just about out of gas, and I'm sure everyone is sick of seeing Bart and Lisa as perpetual fourth- and second-graders (although I'm not suggesting this sort of aging process would have been right for that particular show --but KOTH is more like a regular sitcom, more so than any other prime time cartoons I can recall). Assuming Fox allows KOTH a few more seasons, why not have the kids grow up?

Don't go crazy Jesse,
GET MEDIEVAL!!!!!! SIMPSONS ROCK!!!
I guess they want to keep the Simpsons 'fresh' by keeping Bart and Lisa 8 and 10 years old. I hope Bobby and Luanne age, though I would like to see an episode where Bobby turns 16 and wants to drive, but Hank and Peggy think he's too irresponsible to drive. As for Lisa, I wouldn't be suprised if they decide to get her killed off considering all the hell she's been through in her life.
