KOTH belongs on Sunday night. I cannot watch it on Tuesdays and will not.
Looks like I will have to tape the show on Tuesday and then play it back on Sunday at 8:30 after the Simpsons, WHERE IT BELONGS!

But why is it a Sunday night show? Many people said X-Files was a Friday night show - and look where the ratings are now! People said Simpsons was a thursday night show when it ran against Cosby, but it moved and thrived as well.
I don't totally disagree, I love the lineup that FOX has from 8-10pm on Sun, its great television. However, FOX has a chance to start a new night of programming with a strong show, why not take it? It is just TV, after all.

Frankly, I dread the thought of all the lame pilots Fox is going to try out in the 8:30 PM Sunday slot, hoping that slapping an obvious loser between The Simpsons and The X-Files will somehow transform it into a ratings winner. In my case, it just means I'll turn the television set off a half hour earlier. (No slur against X-Files intended, I just haven't been watching it.)

The show just fits Sunday nights. With it at 8:30, the Simpson's at 8:00, and a Cadfeal mystery at 9:00, that makes for an unbeatable night of TV. Moving it to Tuesday's would leave a hole on Sunday nights and Ihave other things to do on Tuesday besides watch TV. So what I'll be doing is taping it on Tuesdays and playing the tape back on Sunday's at 8:30.

This works for me and I'll do what I have to in order to keep it intact. Only other choice to forget KOTH (which I don't want to do) and start Brother Cadfael a half hour early.
8-9 anyway. I don't care for the X-files, I'd rather watch the Cadfael mystery.
One thing is clear, most of TV is junk. Most new FOX (and UPN and WB) shows are the same thing. Moving KOTH may not help the Tuesday show but KOTH may get hurt in the process
fox jams new shows in between simpsons and x files and waits for their ratings to go up, then moves them to a new time slot.......
they keep doing it......

Don't worry! It'll do just fine on Tuesday nights! I asked Fox and they said it would do just fine. The show's staying in Arlen, Texas, by the way, if you saw King of the Hill last night.

Maybe the show would do better on Tuesdays. Look on the bright side, at least they're not moving to Hollywood! :) And as for Luanne & Buckley, well that's obviously another story for another day. :)
