Palin Peggy comparisons?

Has anyone noticed a strange resemblance between the two? Not on looks but on self confidence based on... well, where is their self confidence based? Couldn't you see Peggy doing the "stump the candidate" game also?

Perhaps Obama should drop Biden and pick up Peggy.

I apologize, but who is Mary McDowell? I kinda see the Goodwin comparison (I only know her from Big Love). Still there is something about that episode of Peggy in Mexico (I believe it was called Lupe's Revenge) that in new light reminds me strongly of Palin.
