If so, then at least they could have Dale say to Hank, "Why the long face?" But it has antlers.
My local Fox affiiate went out for three weeks and I missed the finale. I hope they show it again before they show the premiere so I'll know what is going on other than everyone telling me that Peggy is dead. Does anyone know if they will show it?

Jessi: Well, my FOX is broadcast out of Mexico, which is kind of wierd because at night we get spanish commercials. Anyhow, they had some tornados or an earthquake or something down there and that is what did it. I was dying knowing I was missing my KOTH, Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy. Man, I can't wait to see that finale.

They ARE gonna run the "plunge" ep before the season premiere, aren't they?

My guess would be the last Sunday before the season premiere that isn't pre-empted by baseball or football. It ought to be knowable by now.

After both her rip-cords came out at the roots and after her instructor deployed his chute, they followed her down with the "camera" while she was doing her final Fat Albert impression. We don't know for sure that she's dead, but we know for pretty sure that she hit the ground at about 120 miles per hour and scared up a flock of crows. Hank was already on the ground and watched her as we did. The promo for the season premiere showed the fall and Luanne bringing a deer skull to Hank, saying that's all that's left.
Other than letting her die, which would open up a lot of creative possibilities, the only way out I can see is that she crashes through the ceiling of the cave from a previous episode and lands in a pile of empty beer cans.
She was already depressed by the birth of Didi's child, and the fall isn't going to cheer her up much.
Ya know, seeing that little clip of Luanne with the skull has reassured me a bit about Peg's survival.........I just can't believe that they'd go right from a "dumb Luanne" joke to finding Peg's broken and mangled corpse.
