I Can't Believe They Expect Us To Fall For It..........

Not after all that "IS HANK DEAD?" stuff last season.........first that
whole JR Ewing thing, then the explosion, now this.........what IS IT
with Texas, anyway? They're gonna have to change the state motto to
"Land of the Bogus Cliffhanger!"
        I can't believe they'd really kill Peggy off, but, on the other
hand, two phony death threats in a row would make KOTH something of a
laughingstock.............are they high or something, to back themselves
into a corner like that???
        Unless the lousy ratings have driven the show's creators to the
brink of desperation, in which case this could only be the
beginning..............this could be one wild ( or horrifying ) season
coming up. Peggy and Buckly team up to help Hank, Luanne and Bobby find
happiness? Luanne and Bill get together? Bobby and Connie go all the
way? Kahn finds out, keels over and leaves Minh conveniently in need of
a big, strong man.......like Hank? In which case, of course, Bobby and
Connie would be step-siblings.........they got any laws about that kinda
thing in Texas?
         Meanwhile, Cotton has either hit the road or expired from
excitement and sheer orneryness, leaving Didi ( or is it Deedee? ) in
the lurch........until Boomhower saves the day. They're the perfect
couple, aside from him being set at 78 rpm and her barely at
16................
         Oh, ratings desperation can lead to strange and fearful things,
I tell ya.......we'd better get ready for anything!
