Well, Bobby mentioned it twice. The first time was when Luanne and Peggy were in the room and Hank was not, and Peggy said he shouldn't mention it when his father was there. The second time was when Hank was the only other person in the room when Luanne had left the room after telling them about her problems on the job, and Bobby said that maybe he didn't want the job after all, and Hank gave the standard <blank stare>. There's not much else Hank _could_ do.

That he does. In this case, though, Bobby had already decided against it when Hank first heard about it, even though Bobby already had job experience as a race-track drink boy, so Hank was caught between being horrified and being relieved. Good thing Cotton wasn't around.

And also, I think Hank had enough on his mind at the time, and just had to let Bobby's remark slide. Remember, I'm pulling for you; we're all in this together. ---Red Green
