It is going to be interesting. Cotton's going to be pissed if it's a girl! :) Don't worry, folks. Peggy's a survivor she'll probably hold onto Hank next week when she falls. She was cool in yesterday's episode. But the real hero was Dale when he got that ball with his hat! :)

Not likely. In the teaser, they showed Hank's chute opening before Peggy's two ripcords came out at the roots. The instructor was still with her, though.

Either way, this is another of those manipulative "Are the Hills going to move to California" kind of gimmicks. Those producers should be shot for jerking us around like this. Once was bad enough, but twice is pushing their luck. . . . .

And I really wanted Dale to redeem himself and save the game. Just shows Dale isn't ALWAYS a jerk. . . .That's the best thing he's ever done on the show, other than giving Joseph his last five dollars to go to the movies. . . .

In real life there might be a certain momemtum risk there that might make opening her chute pack manually more likely. Skydiving instructors remind me of hand-grenade instructors in basic training; they have to have nerves of steel and be used to dealing with malfunctioning equipment and untrained students.

Or, she could just die and the family would gradually grow to deal with it.

Not to mention saving Bobby from the fire ants. Dale is sometimes, well, just _prudent_. A real-life Special Forces sergeant I knew in the early days of the Vietnam misunderstanding told me that he was trained to duck and run away and live to fight another day. A guy I knew before that told me about a ROTC camp where their squad's mission was to ambush a Special Forces unit due along in an hour or so, so they had plenty of time to get up in trees and camouflage themselves, and he was feeling pretty confident until he felt that knife blade at his throat.

I wonder if Bobby realizes that he's 12 years older than his uncle(s) or aunt(s)? I'd think something like that would mess with his mind real good. Heh heh...

I think Bobby is resilient enough to be able to handle almost anything.

The age thing is getting to be awkward, though. There was a bit this week about Connie's last name getting cut off in last year's yearbook, and Connie and Bobby were shown on the couples page of this year's yearbook. Seems like Connie showed up after Bobby had turned twelve, so more than a cartoon year has passed. Even Didi is likely to give birth by next fall.

Dale is kind of like Moe in that he seems infinitely disreputable, but time and again, he does the right thing...
